Farningham Mill, Kent

Lying within a Conservation Area (CA) and with 18th century buildings and watermill present on site, Open Spaces were appointed to this sensitive redevelopment project with services encompassing landscape master planning and tree consultancy.

The site is home to a variety of existing buildings to be renovated and restored, including three Grade II* listed buildings, a variety of cottages and outbuildings. Extending to some 7 acres, the main estate includes a stretch of the River Darent, mill stream, walled gardens, coach house, stables and a Victorian folly and ice house. The mixed-use development include a range of unique luxury homes, cottages and associated landscapes, all incorporating design for flood management.
