Following the closure in 2014 of the John Gilpin Public House on the outskirts of Ware, Hertfordshire, planning consent was granted in 2016 for its demolition and the construction of 10 new 3 and 4 bedroom houses.

Working closely with the developer, the Planning Application package included a Preliminary Ecological Appraisal encompassing an internal inspection for bats, a BS 5837 compliant tree survey and associated reports, followed by a detailed hard and soft landscape schemes including a lighting plan, specifications, and landscape management schedules.
